FNDM Dubai 2025: Walt Wizard Brings Peruvian Hyper-Realism to the Middle East
From October 1 to 5, 2025, Walt Wizard participated as an official exhibitor at FNDM Dubai (Middle East Film & Comic Con), one of the region's premier events dedicated to pop culture, entertainment, and collectibles. From Booth C21, located at the Dubai Outlet Mall, he showcased a remarkable collection of hyper-realistic sculptures that attracted thousands of visitors from around the world.
Throughout the five-day event, attendees had the opportunity to experience Walt Wizard's work up close through sculptures inspired by legendary film and entertainment icons. Among the featured pieces were Hulk Hogan, John Rambo, along with an impressive collection of hyper-realistic busts representing well-known characters from popular culture. Every sculpture demonstrated the artist's extraordinary craftsmanship, from lifelike skin textures and individually implanted hair to meticulously recreated costumes and facial expressions.
Walt Wizard's exhibition quickly became one of the Marketplace's most visited and photographed attractions. Visitors of all ages stopped to admire the sculptures, take photographs, and learn about the artistic process behind each creation. The exhibition provided collectors, movie enthusiasts, artists, and entertainment professionals with a unique opportunity to experience the exceptional level of hyper-realism developed by the Peruvian artist.
Beyond showcasing his artwork, FNDM Dubai also provided an invaluable opportunity to connect with international collectors, event organizers, and professionals from the entertainment industry. The positive reception and interest generated by the exhibition opened the door to future collaborations and projects beyond Latin America.
Walt Wizard's participation in Dubai represents another important milestone in his international career, reinforcing his commitment to creating immersive artistic experiences that go far beyond traditional sculpture. More than recreating iconic characters, each piece is designed to evoke emotion, preserve stories, and demonstrate that Peruvian hyper-realistic art can stand among the world's leading creative showcases.
